Midgard Rohan v Isengard 'Fords of Isen'

Dave was also keen to play Midgard so we tried out the 'Fords of Isen' scenario from the TFL Christmas magazine. I cobbled together a 'Rohan' army from various 15mm Dark Ages armies while Dave used my never before seen action generic evil army. Rohan is defending the fords with reinforcements for both sides arriving during the battle:

This game had limited turns and in another move would have been a comprehensive Orc victory, Dave spent a while trying to shoot up the defenders of the Fords with little result (we both thought it would be more effective!) and, if he had just attacked immediately the result would have been very different!
